About Margaret River Hideaway & Farmstay
Situated just 5kms (NE) of Margaret River township and within easy driving distance of the region’s numerous attractions, the immensely popular Margaret River Hideaway & Farmstay is a gazetted “Land for Wildlife” property.
Our 4 gumnut rated accommodation includes a well-appointed Studio (suitable for 2-3 persons) and 7 very comfortable 2 and 3 bedroom cottages, catering for between 2 and 8 guests - in varying configurations. Our “farm” encompasses 23.3 hectares (57 acres) and is home to a wide array of animals including Dorper sheep, alpacas, Scottish Highland cattle, geese, ducks, guinea fowl, emus, peacocks and chickens. Kids and adults enjoy our animal feeding every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. Well-behaved dogs are welcome to stay, without charge!
Margaret River Hideaway is accessed from Osmington Road, just 3kms north of Margaret River township. We have a very large red tractor by the gate, so we can’t be missed.
Many guests, including some from overseas, return again and again, such is their enjoyment of our peaceful retreat.
Coin operated laundry facilities are available. We also have free Wi-Fi connected to all cottages (for up to 2 devices). Additional devices can be connected for $5.00 per 24 hour period (1-2 devices) via PayPal or credit card.
We provide a simple “starter” breakfast comprising cereal, milk, bread, orange juice and tea / coffee; as well as free eggs (when the chickens are laying). Otherwise, this is a self-catering property.
We're delighted to have been awarded Trip Advisor's "Certificate of Excellence 2015 Winner." This certificate acknowledges the fact that we are amongst the top 10%, worldwide, for traveller feedback.
